Woman Bronze Sculpture

Inspiration:
The mother vine is an important factor in the history of wine making. The practice of taking cuttings from vines that date back centuries, and creating entire vineyards from them tells the story of a matriarch and the generations that sprang from her womb. Offspring carry the spirit and the quality of the parent. The bronze Mother Vine appears to emerge from the earth. Her spirit is captured in the smile she gives to the small bird visiting her from her very limb.
