Bronze Roadrunner Sculpture

In the vast stillness of the desert, life moves with quiet precision. The roadrunner — alert, graceful, and untamed — pauses upon the cactus bloom, sunlight glinting across its feathers like sparks of heat on sand. Beneath, a lizard rests in shadow, the eternal dance of pursuit and balance held perfectly still in bronze.

Desert Beauty celebrates the harmony of opposites — motion and stillness, fragility and strength. It is a tribute to the survivors of the arid lands, those who thrive where others wither. In sculpting it, I sought to capture not just the form of the desert’s spirit, but its resilience — that fierce grace born of sun, silence, and endurance.
